Just a girl who loves Baby yoda tote bag
Frank Oz voices Yoda in each film and uses his skills as a puppet player in the original Trilogy and Star Wars: Episode I – The Threat of Specter. For some of the character commuting scenes in Episodes V and I, dwarf actors Deep Roy and Warwick Davis played in the Yoda costume (though neither are recorded at the end). While Frank Oz was the main performer, he was supported by a multitude of other puppeteers, including: Kathryn Mullen (Episode V), Wendy Froud (episode V), David Barclay (Episode V-VI), Mike Quinn (Episode VI), David Greenaway (Episode I and VI), Don Austen (Volume I), and Kathy Smee (Volume I). For the radio plays of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, Yoda was voiced by John Lithgow, while Tom Kane voiced him in the Clone Wars animated series, several video games and series. Star Wars: The Clone Wars. George Lucas originally intended to name Yoda’s full name “Minch Yoda” before shortening it.
Makeup artist Stuart Freeborn created Yoda’s face based on part of his face and part of Albert Einstein. In The Phantom Menace, he was redesigned to look younger. He was computer generated for two distant shots, but still mostly filmed with puppets. The puppet was redesigned by Nick Dudman from the original Stuart Freeborn design.
